Hilary Duff To 90210 Remake? Just Say No!

Kristin from E! is reporting that the producers of the upcoming 90210 remake have approached Hilary Duff for a starring role in the series.  Given Kristin's track record is somewhere to the left of "not good," let's hope this is a vicious rumor.  Because this has 'bad idea' written all over it.

Hilary would play the role of Annie Mills, who transfers to Beverly Hills and loves acting.  She also has an adopted brother, Dixon.  Change adopted to twin and, yes, obviously she's supposed to be the new Brenda.  And the Duffster is ALL WRONG for this part.  I had a chance to take a peek at one of the pilot's drafts and I just don't see Hilary playing this girl.  To me, despite those horsey choppers, Hilary looks more BH princess than Kansas transfer student.

I could be wrong (I'm probably not), maybe she'll be great in the role.  I mean, look how good she was in "Material Girls..."
