Brad Pitt and Edward Norton have teamed up to star in the big screen adaptation of the British mini-series, "State of Play." The guys were co-stars in the 1999 film, "Fight Club."
Kevin Macdonald, who directed "The Last King of Scotland" will direct. "State of Play" begins filming in November and is based on the script written by Matthew Michael Carnahan.
According to Variety, Norton's character is that of a congressman whose rise in politics is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress. Pitt will be playing a journalist who oversees newspaper coverage of the murder and develops a relationship with the politician's estranged wife.
