Brittany Murphy: First Comes Visa, Then Comes Marriage

The National Enquirer is reporting that serial fiancee Brittany Murphy married her new husband to keep him in the country.  I'm pretty sure that goes against one of "The Rules," but whatever. 

Simon Monjack was arrested less than a month before the super secret quickie nuptials on expired visa charges.  He also allegedly has a lot of bad debt and sleazy business schemes, something new wifey knew nothing about--though his lawyer claims the charges are bogus and made up by "disgruntled ex-girlfriends."  I hate those disgruntled exes; the gruntled ones are so much easier to deal with.

Murphy's rep had no comment on the story (translation: she's already got the annulment paperwork going) and Monjack's lawyer says the marriage has no bearing on his visa status (meaning he'll be out on his ear in...what day is this?).
