Dr. Phil Oversteps Boundaries - Again.

TMZ reports that a "Dr. Phil" television producer and a production assistant bailed out Mercades Nichols, who has been accused of orchestrating a severe beating of a fellow teenager that was recorded and posted on YouTube.

Bond for Nichols had been set at $33,000.00, while minions for the "Dr. Phil" show helped the teen leave a Florida jail with her mother. The bond posting came in the wake of comments from the teenager's grandmother, who told reporters she did not have enough money to get the girl out of jail.

A representative for the "Dr. Phil" show issued an exclusive statement to TMZ.com saying a show on the popularized case would not occur as planned:

"We have helped guests and potential guests in the past when they need financial assistance to come on the show - assisting with clothing allowance, lost wages, accommodations, travel and necessities, the statement said. In this case, certain staff members went beyond our guidelines."

Webcastr.com, a new video website featuring professional video content from over 200 channel providers, announced the winners of its Videos of the Year Awards. Webcastr's viewers, along with its editors voted amongst over 2,500 professionally produced videos on the website to pick the best video clips of the year for 2007. Thirty finalists were chosen by the staff with the final clips being voted on by viewers during the last two weeks of December.

The winning clip, 'Heidi Loves Her Bazooms' was a Victoria's Secret promo spot featuring supermodel Heidi Klum, wearing a selection of the lingerie maker's latest bras in a comedic, combative yet playful series of video vignettes to promote the companies' Holiday Fashion Special on CBS last December.

The other winners are:

The Brady Bunch Goes XXX

What a brilliant idea!  I suppose.  Someone finally decided to make what the world has been begging for: a porno based on The Brady Bunch.  Per the press release:

Here's the story of a lovely lady. ... Now wait a minute. What's going on here? The #1 porn movie in America is about a special lady, but only this time it's Not the Bradys XXX.

Triple X as in X-rated, and fans have been flocking to video stores and purchasing the DVD in record numbers, pushing Not the Bradys XXX to the top of the national sales charts in one of the quickest leaps in adult cinema history.

Directed by Will Ryder (say it slowly), of Britney Rears* fame, and starring AVN Female Performer of the Year, Hillary Scott, as big sister Marcia, the movie was created by X-Play and distributed by Hustler porn king Larry Flynt.

When CBS's Entertainment Tonight and The Insider ran tantalizing stories about the Brady porn "shocker," churning legal speculation, America watched then clogged the busy adult web site, which nearly ran out of bandwidth.

"It's the sincerest form of flattery," suggested Christopher Knight, who played middle brother Peter in the TV series, as he held up a copy of the porn DVD. "This is definitely not us. It's a great idea, and I'm just surprised it wasn't done earlier," Knight said smiling.

Not the Bradys XXX is an adult movie parody of the popular television show The Brady Bunch that ran from 1969 until 1974, and is a smash hit with porn lovers and those curious to see what all the excitement is about.

New York Post's Page Six jumped on the story and now everybody'scalling for interview and DVD requests," Ryder said.

"This is unbelievable and unlike anything I've ever witnessed in porn," stated ten-year-veteran Alana Evans, who plays Carol, the mom.

Critics are calling the movie brilliant and praising it for wonderful production and perfect casting, making this the best porn comedy of the year according to X Critic.com which said, "Not the Bradys XXX elevated the bar so high that few others need bother. Parody porn at its best."

AdultDVD Empire.com wrote, "Best adult spoof of 2007 and a whole lot of
fun to watch. Hustler made some very smart casting choices."

Also cast was porn legend Ron Jeremy as Sam the Butcher, who tries to deliver some beef to Alice. "I've done thousands of movies but there's something magical here," the Surreal Life star said owning four decades of hardcore experience.

Producer Jeff Mullen (former keyboard player for Brandy and All-4-One) said, "This is feel-good porn. We loved the TV series and because we live in America, we get to have a little fun with a good friend. It's family-style porn if you know what I mean."

I didn't do too awful bad - I scored 500 out of 1000 and that's only because on three of the questions I knew the answers and still clicked on the wrong ones because sometimes I'm a dork.

Prince Demands Video Clips Be Removed

Prince is demanding that video clips from his London concerts be removed from the internet and has hired British firm Web Sheriff to ensure his demands are met. He's also demanding YouTube and Pirate Bay web sites remove whatever clips they have as well as demanding online stores like eBay remove unauthorized merchandise, which he says violate copyright laws.

Said a spokesman for Web Sheriff:

"We are not targeting fans who might want to sell their copy of 'Purple Rain'; we are targeting companies in China manufacturing Prince handbags and selling them in their thousands."

Prince has spent the summer playing 21 gigs at London's O2 arena and although fans were prohibited from taking photographs or video footage, many still uploaded clips to the web.

Zap2it TV

I'm completely in love with Zap2it - especially since they announced today the addition of two new site features that allow users to watch favorite shows where they want, when they want.

The "On Broadband" feature, which is available here, provides navigation to full episodes of primetime TV shows available for streaming over the Internet. The guide focuses on free offerings from the five largest broadcast networks plus TNT and TBS.

Right now, I'm watching the full episode of "According To Jim."  This particular episode aired last night, but I missed it, so it's awesome that I can watch it now - as in right now!

In addition to program links, the "On Broadband" guide provides users with show as well as episode level descriptions, original air dates, episode numbers and photos (when available). The service is powered by Tribune Media Services' Entertainment Products division.

Also cool is that although I don't have Tivo, there's a Tivo Online Scheduling feature which allows those who do to remotely schedule recordings of their favorite shows from within the Zap2it TV listings grids.

My hope is that eventually there will be more networks and shows added. Since I watch very little television, most of what I do watch isn't listed (we're talking The History Channel and the Food Network), so it would be cool if more networks are added to the line-up, but for now, I'd say this is a step in the right direction.
