If you thought the hat Sarah Jessica Parker wore to the world premiere of "Sex and the City" was a bit over the top, take a look at this fancy headwear from the 7th Annual Tulips & Pansies: The Headdress Affair, which was held at the Altman Building last week in New York City.  The event raises funds for Village Care of New York, a non-profit organization providing vital healthcare programs to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney Win Big at Academy of Country Music Awards

In case you missed it, the 43 annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among the nights top winners were Carrie Underwood, who beat out Martina McBride and LeAnn Rimes to take home the award for Female Vocalist of the Year, while Kenny Chesney walked away with Entertainer of The Year accolades.

Other winners were Brad Paisley {Male Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year}, Miranda Lambert {Album of the Year}, Taylor Swift {New Female Vocalist}, Brooks & Dunn {Top Vocal Duo}, Sugarland {Single of the Year}, Lady Antebellum {New Duo or Group}, Rascal Flatts {Top Vocal Group}, and Jack Ingram {New Male Vocalist}.

Couple Watch: Kimberley Locke and Harvey Walden

Somehow I missed this.  I had no idea that "American Idol" alum Kimberley Locke was dating loudmouth Harvey Walden from "Celebrity Fit Club/Celebrity Fit Club Boot Camp."   

The lovebirds were spotted backstage at the Nokia Theatre in New York last week, where Locke  was performing. These two seem like a very unlikely match, but she told People that he wasn't "officially" her boyfriend because he wasn't quite divorced yet:

"His divorce is why we're not a couple yet. That is my rule. Whether you're separated or married -- whatever -- I would like it to be cleared up. Until then we can hang out together and have fun together."

I knew Locke appeared on "Celebrity Fit Club" last year, but I had no idea they were dating - or attempting to date, but I guess the romance blossomed once the season was over. She told People a few months ago:

"We worked out on the show together for four months and never even said anything to each other. I thought he was mean. I didn't want him to be mean to me, but then after the show was over and I saw him outside of work, he was really nice."

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Catrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis hit the red carpet for the word premiere of "Sex and the City," held at the Odeon Leicester Square, on May 12, in London, England.

Smokey Robinson and Denzel Washington To Be Honored at the Apollo

Smokey Robinson and Denzel Washington will be honored at the Apollo Theater's fourth annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Harlem, New York.

Robinson is to be inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame at the June 2 event, while Washington and his wife Pauletta are to receive the Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis Arts and Humanitarian Award, the Apollo Theater Foundation announced Monday.

Washington recently worked with Dee in the Harlem-set film, "American Gangster."

Earth Wind & Fire, India.Arie and Nnenna Freelon are scheduled to perform at the Apollo event, while comedienne and actress Wanda Sykes will act as host.

Victoria Beckham: "Hardy Men" Cameo and a Move Back To Britain?

Rumor has it that Victoria Beckham will has a cameo role in the new Tom Cruise film, "Hardy Men," after being asked to appear by Cruise himself.

As the story goes, during Victoria's recent 34th birthday bash, she was reportedly "speechless" after Cruise not only asked her to design the costumes for the film, but to also make a cameo appearance, as well.

Victoria seemed to do quite well last year when she appeared on "Ugly Betty" as a bridesmaid for the character of Wilhelmina Slater {played by Vanessa Williams}, so I'd bet she'll do quite well in a feature film cameo, too. 

The film will also co-star Ben Stiller.

The rumor comes hot on the heels of yet more hush-hush speculation that the Beckham's may be considering a move back across the pond, especially after it was reported that the pair had hired an LA company to design a new home back in Britain.

A rep for the pair insists:

"Victoria has said if they ever move back to the U.K. they will move to central London but there are no plans at the moment."

Jennie Garth Heads Back to "90210"

It's official - Jennie Garth has confirmed she's coming back to "90210" - or at least the spin-off, anyway.

Garth pretty much started rumors flying when she suddenly quit her television series, "My Best Friend's Girl" last month, where she was originally scheduled to star.  The actress decided to jump ship at the last minute and it wasn't long before speculation was fueled that perhaps Garth was headed back to her old zip code and a "Beverly Hills, 90210" spin-off.

So far, Garth is the first official original character to be brought in, however both Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering have made it public that they too, would like a piece of the action.

Garth will come back has her original character, Kelly Taylor, and since she's all grown up now, she'll play the high school guidance counselor.

Kathy Hilton To Guest on "The Young and the Restless"

Kathy Hilton is scheduled to guest star on the daytme soap "The Young and the Restless" on May 13.

According to the network, Hilton will play herself, stopping in the fictional Genoa City to help her friend Jack Abbott {played by actor Peter Bergman} find the perfect cover model for his new magazine.
