Kid Rock: A Real Boy Scout

Kid Rock reportedly was among the readers who donated cash or equipment to a Florida Boy Scout troop that had been robbed.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel said the recording artist read about Troop 631's story over the weekend when he had been performing in the area.

Troop leaders realized last week that a $5,600.00 owned by the troop, as well as $4,000.00 worth of camping gear had been stolen.

That said, Kid Rock cut them a check:

"I will cut them a check for the difference and hopefully will allow the boys to make their trip,"

Rock's publicist said Monday the singer wouldn't comment on his donation, however, he did say Rock was happy to help out.

Kid Rock Gets Sued - Again.

Kid Rock just can't seem to stay out of trouble - he's being sued for battery by three men who accuse the rocker of lashing out after they asked for his autograph, leaving them "seriously injured".

The men, Michael Medlin, Carlos Bonilla and Jose Perez, filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday and are asking $15 million in damages, claiming that Rock - real name Robert Ritchie - and members of the hip-hop group the Boo-Yaa Tribe allegedly assaulted them outside Teddy's in Hollywood two years ago, on 22 March, 2006. According to legal documents obtained E!, Rock and the rappers are all listed as defendants in the case.

The three men are claiming hospital and medical expenses, lost wages, loss of property as well as property and general damages. They were allegedly attacked after approaching Rock and the Boo-Yaa Tribe with notebooks.

Kid Rock And Waffles Don't Mix

One week you're celebrating your CD being #1, the next you're fighting in a waffle house.  Oh, if I had a dollar for every time I heard that story...

So, yeah, Kid Rock was arrested on Saturday in Atlanta for fighting with some dude in a waffle house after the guy recognized a woman in Kid's entourage.  Words were exchanged and mayhem ensued.  The cops were called and Kid and five members of the entourage were arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of simple battery.  I'm gonna blame it on some rancid butter.  That's the cause of most of the world's problems.

Kid was released from Dekalb County jail on bail on Sunday.  He was seen signing autographs on his way out.  Which is such a rock star thing to do.  Skulk out a side exit?  Please, that's for amateurs.

"Rock N Roll Jesus" Hails At Number 1

According to Billboard, Kid Rock's new album, "Rock N Roll Jesus," is number 1 on the album charts. This marks the first time KR has topped The Billboard 200.

Last week's number one honor, Bruce Springsteen's "Magic," takes the number 2 spot while while Rascal Flatts' "Still Feels Good" - another former number 1 album, fell to third place this week.

LeAnn Rimes' "Family" takes the number 4 spot, while Matchbox Twenty' rolls in at number 5 with "Mainstream."

Kid Rock Says Altercation With Tommy Lee Was Unavoidable

Kid Rock says his altercation with Tommy Lee at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas had been a long time coming.

Rock was arrested by Vegas police and charged with misdemeanor battery for the incident.

"It's been going on for five years. I did what any man would do, any man across the country, across the world would do. It kills me just to be associated with, to have my name in a sentence with him; it honestly destroys me."

Rock made the remarks on Thursday morning's The Kevin & Bean Show on Los Angeles' KROQ-FM.

The singer said the last time he had contact with rocker Tommy Lee was when he was in the midst of his divorce from Pamela Anderson.

"He picked up her Blackberry and started e-mailing me a lot of horrendous things. It was extremely disrespectful. I had to do what I had to do because this was a long time coming. ... I came back from the bathroom and he was sitting right there. It was even more disrespectful after everything he's said. I was like, 'That's enough.'"

Pam Anderson: Boys Will Be Boys

Pamela Anderson says she's staying out of the Kid Rock/Tommy Lee scuffle, which ended with fists flying at the MTV VMA's on Sunday. 

Anderson talked about the incident on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" yesterday:

"Last time you were here you said they didn't get along," DeGeneres said, to which Anderson replied, "Can ya tell?"

Pam told Ellen that she didn't actually see the fight go down and left the event before it started:

"I actually left. As soon as I left, meow! They all went after each other."

Responding when Ellen mentioned she noticed how close Pam and ex Tommy Lee were at the event, Pam seemed to take it all in stride with a "boys will be boys" attitude:

"He pulled me on his lap and spanked my butt. That was okay. What are you going to do?  Boys."

On the show, Pam also revealed she's dating a poker player, but wouldn't say who he was.

Kid Rock Gets Charged; Tommy Lee Calls Rock "Kid Pebble"

TMZ says the Las Vegas Police Department has charged Kid Rock with misdemeanor battery after an altercation with rocker Tommy Lee Sunday night at the MTV VMA's.

The LVPD issued a statement confirming that officers responded to a disturbance Sunday night at the award show.

"We had a lot of officers working in and around the awards, so they got there fairly quickly. We determined that the altercation was between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. After our investigation, Kid Rock did receive a citation for misdemeanor battery. Everyone involved was interviewed."

A witness told TMZ that Lee got it pretty bad during the scuffle but it was unclear what the fight was about. Rock is expected to appear in a Las Vegas court.

Meanwhile, Tommy Lee called out Kid Rock on his website, calling him "Kid Pebble" (omg - too funny!) and apologizing to MTV for the "disrespectful bullshit":

Not a minute later and Alicia Keys starts her amazing performance....("I apologize sweetie.....I had nothing to do with the timing and disrespect")......back to the stupid-ness!!....so..... I get a tap on the shoulder from Kid Pebble...I stand up and embrace him with a semi hug and say "Hey dude...What up"?? He punches me in the face.....well if ya wanna call it that!?....more like a bitch slap!.......Wuss!! Anyway....i go to knock this jealous country bumpkin the f$%k OUT....and before I can have a meeting with my fist and his ugly ass mug ....security guards... grab me and haul my ass outta the award show! So I'm fine and of course leave to my room with police and owner of the Palm's George Maloof......the rest is paper work and bullshit!... Anyway...... I would like to apologize to Alicia and George and MTV for the disrespectful bullshit caused by a piece of shit called Kid Pebble!!
