Jennifer Lopez Gets Out Of The House

You know, it's really a shame that now that Jennifer Lopez is a mommy that we never see her anymore.  Oh, wait.  Yes, that's right--the new parents were out in NYC again yesterday, this time at the Christian Dior Cruise Collection 2009. 

Is New York having a cold snap?  Because I do so love J. Lo's fur-trimmed coat.  In May.  And Marc is looking particularly lifelike--he must've been tranfused recently. 

By the way, is Jennifer shooting her not reality, reality show yet?  You know, the one that's totally a reality show but she took exception to it being called a reality show so now it's suddenly a "docu-series for TLC.  Because the wording makes all the difference.

Christina Aguilera and her husband were also at the event and the new parents all posed together.  Talking about diapers and formula, no doubt.  Stars, they're just like us!

Though there were several stories on Friday that Christina Aguilera had had her baby, turns out?  Not so much.  However, she did pop on Saturday night, when Max Liron Bratman was born, People reports.  M-Brat weighed in at 6 lbs., 2 oz. and 20.5 inches.  Liron, apparently, means "my joy" in Hebrew.  I kind of like it.  Of course, my cat is named Max, but see?  That means I think it's a great name!

And by "hope" I mean, "I certainly hope this is someone's idea of a joke." 

According to the UK's The Sun, Christina Aguilera has signed on to star in her first movie, a family drama called "Humbolt Park."  One of her co-stars?  The future ex-Mrs. Cruise, Katie Holmes.  Per a "source:"

“(Holmes) is trying to prove she can do more than fluffy popcorn movies and teaming up with Aguilera shows she’s willing to take risks."

Wow, nice insult to Xtina there, Tom...er, I mean, unnamed source.  Because Kate's so cutting edge that *she* walked away from the blockbuster-in-the-making "The Dark Knight," and wasn't uninvited to come back for the "Batman Begins" sequel.  Cutting edge is why she filmed "Mad Money," which opens in a couple of weeks in the vast wasteland of mid-January, where crappy movies are dumped in the hopes of making a few bucks.  Then, again...ever watch Kate shop?  I heard she'll buy pants without trying them on!  Daring!

Needless to say, I think this story is bunk.  Christina is due to give birth in the next couple of weeks and this movie is allegedly supposed to start filming in mid-February.  A month between birth and big screen?  Doubt it.
