Sarah Jessica Parker's X-Rated Blow Up
An X-rated blow-up doll that's crafted in the image of Sarah Jessica Parker seems to be raising a few legal questions.
The inflatable doll from California company, Pipedream Products, uses references from the popular HBO series, "Sex and the City," in the packaging for its Parker look-alike sex doll, according to the New York Post.
Intellectual-property attorney Brian Brokate suggested HBO officials could take legal action against the manufacturers of the sex doll as it clearly appears to take advantage of the Sex trademark.
"I would think HBO would make an effort to stop this on the basis of trademark infringement, Brokate told the Post. The courts don't look kindly on this type of thing, which demeans the show and tarnishes the star's image."
The big screen version of the popular television series is due to be released in theaters in May.
