Ashlee Simpson: Still Playing Games
How long can Ashlee Simpson keep up the "I'm not saying" game she's been playing in regard to her alleged pregnancy? Until her album sales stop increasing? Until Papa Joe says it's time to move on to another publicity ploy? I don't know, but it's only been a couple weeks and this story already has crow's feet.
But Ashlee didn't get that memo and continued to play coy during a taping of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Ellen, god bless her, didn't pussyfoot around the question and asked her flat-out. Not that that changed her answer, but at least she had the balls Ryan Seacrest couldn't muster. Ashlee's response?
"Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe….Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something … because I don’t think I do."
*Giggle* Isn't she just the cutest? Yeah, Ellen didn't think so either. She pulled out a photo of Jennifer Lopez and asked:
"You’re not going to keep this answer up as long as this woman did...."
Ashlee pinky swore she wasn't, but you know Papa Joe was drooling at the mere mention of La Lopez's name in the same breath as his meal ticket's, er, I mean daughter's.
