Lindsay Lohan Joins A Cult
No, she's not becoming a Scientologist (because everyone knows they're not a cult, they're a bona fide religion. Ahem.), but Lindz is getting ready to pick up her tambourine and drop some acid (let's hope she's not a method actress) for the movie "Manson Girls." She'll play Nancy Pittman, one of Charles Manson's followers, reports E! News. The film will be directed by Brad Wyman (OMG! THE Brad Wyman?!?) and sources told the network the production company is apparently not going to have a problem insuring Miss Unpredictable.
The character Lindsay is playing joined Manson's cult after she ran away from home at 16 and was with him the night he sent his other followers out to kill Sharon Tate. She later was involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and served an 18 month prison sentence for an accessory after the fact to murder. Ah! It's gonna be the feel good movie of 2009!
Before she starts to film this happy happy, joy joy flick, Lilo's will shot the comedy "Ye Olde Times" with Jack Black and David Arquette. You know, I have to say--I don't mind Lindsay keeping her nose clean of late. It's kind of a refreshing palate cleanser after last year. Sigh...I wonder how long it will last?
