Julia Roberts: Rough In NYC

Remember when Julia used to be "pretty woman" and it wasn't meant in a sarcastic sense?  I mean, yes, it was eighteen years ago and she was all fresh and the new thing back then, but even back in the day she always bugged me.  She had that "I so deserve this" look about her that has only gotten worse with age.  I heard this great story years ago about how needing and obnoxiously coddled she had to be during the making of that movie, to the point that she was pretty despised on set.  Then there are the legendary tales of how much trouble she called Steven Spielberg when they were filming "Hook."  "High maintenance," that's what she is.

And, now years later, with an Oscar under her belt and an even bigger sense of entitlement, Julia is back.  After a couple blissful years away (well, blissful for me) to have her bay-bees she's been filming more and more.  Here she is in NYC taking a break from shooting "Duplicity" with that yummy Clive Owen.  I bet she's on the phone with Danny Moder yelling at him to make sure the housekeeper remembers to dust the giant portrait of her that hangs in the foyer.  C'mon, you know she's got one of those somewhere.
